StarDome at Skellig Star Party 2016

StarDome is coming to the Skelligs!

CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory’s portable planetarium is on the road in Ireland in association with ESERO, the European Space Education and Resource Office.

Visit An Halla Pobal, Baile Na Sceilge over the weekend of the Skellig Star Party and discover the wonders of the night sky with experienced presenters.

Head out to a star party that evening with the basic knowledge you need to look up and learn more about our wonderful Universe.

Family friendly half hour shows will run in the Hall from 2-5pm on Friday August 26th and on Saturday from 10-4pm.

Astronomers from Blackrock Castle Observatory will also be on hand to talk groups through the use of telescopes.
